Frequently asked questions
How do I check the app version?
Look in FocusRSS settings or the app information in iOS Settings. Update to the latest App Store version, try again, and include the version number in your email.
How do I import RSS, and why is a feed not refreshing?
Add an RSS, Atom, or JSON Feed URL or use the app's import option. Confirm that the URL is publicly accessible, the network works, and the source server is available. iOS background refresh is not real-time or guaranteed at an exact time; refresh manually in the app when needed.
Why can't my AI endpoint connect?
Check the endpoint URL, model, network, and credential. FocusRSS stores credentials in the iOS Keychain. Never send a key to support. BYOK requests include the Focus question, your prompt, selected articles, and source URLs, but not your full subscription list.
How do purchases and restore purchases work?
FocusRSS supports a lifetime purchase and an auto-renewable Hosted AI subscription. Sign in with the Apple ID used for purchase, then use Restore Purchases in the app. Manage renewal and cancellation through Apple's subscription settings. Hosted AI is disabled at launch.
Privacy and deletion
Read the privacy policy and privacy choices. FocusRSS does not provide accounts, so there is no account-deletion workflow. Delete content and AI credentials in the app, or delete the app to remove local data. Email privacy questions to himmy.cui@outlook.com.
